Set in beautiful Piedmont Park, the Atlanta Dog Jog is the premiere running
event for dogs and their owners in the Southeast region. There is a one mile run and a two mile run. This is an excellent
event for the serious runner and just for fun walkers. Dogs in strollers and wagons are welcome.
Walk, jog or run it either
way you will be helping Canine Assistants. Canine Assistants are a metro Atlanta, non-profit organization, that trains and
provides service dogs for children and adults with physical disabilities or other special needs. In addition to physically
assisting those with disabilities, Canine Assistants service dogs are instrumental in removing many of the barriers faced
by the disabled in today's society.
